These works are related to the origination of the Franciscan order in England (1226). The first work, by Thomas Eccleston, is a history of the Franciscan order and particularly its settlement and progress in England (ca. 1258). The second is a collection of letters by Adam de Marisco who founded the Franciscan college at Oxford (d. 1257-1258?). The third is a register which records the founding of the Friars Minors in London.
