Small 8vo, pp. xlviii, 576; inserted engraved title-p., a number of wood-engraved illustrations in the text; publisher's full maroon velvet binding with a church-door design on covers stamped in black, gilt and blue, a.e.g., boards with brass edges; early gift inscription dated 1874; spine a little faded, slight cracking of the joints, minor foxing, else very good. At the back is tipped in a ticket to the Cowper Museum (i.e. Cowper's house) dated in manuscript on the back 1928. Item #26270
