Only edition, 8vo, pp. [4], 126; illustrated with 16 wood-engravings (many full-p.) as well as an inserted double-p. map of the city; very good copy in original limp terracotta cloth lettered in gilt on upper cover. Published during Minneapolis's great boomtime, the book details everything from libraries and sewer systems to railroad lines and newspapers, to hotels and resorts; there is a long account of the region's history and of the geological peculiarities, the last of which is largely credited to Prof. N. H. Winchell of the State Geological Survey in the anonymous author's Preface. Item #26300
