Edition limited to 150 copies, 4to, pp. x, 354, [2]; 24 plates (16 being collotypes) including portraits of Collins and Reade; a very good copy in original blindstamped terra cotta cloth lettered in gilt on spine, the corners mildly bumped and the spine ends creased, but overall clean and bright, t.e.g., in a similarly bright dust jacket with a handful of small tears, ranging from 1/4" to 1/2" along edges. A hard-to-find reference, especially in this condition, that includes, in addition to the author bibliographies, chapters on errata in the works of each, and a catalogue of posters and programs for their theatrical productions. Also including appendixes on periodical contributions and items not in the Dormy Library, and addenda. Item #28450
