There is a short family biography beginning with Daniel Rea who arrived at Plymouth in 1630 and the rest of the volume is given over to Rea's journal beginning May 29th, 1758. The editor, who added many useful footnotes, was the author's great grandson. Inscribed by the editor on the front wrapper. Item #29124
