First Litchfield edition, square 24mo, [120 x 106mm], pp. 185; flyleaf loose and bearing the early ownership signature of Phebe Tilinghast, title with tear (not affecting letterpress) sewn together by an early hand, a few marginal tears, crude, but apparently original 1/4 roan over bare birch boards; a fragile but acceptable example printed by Thomas Collier, an apprentice to Richard Draper in Boston, and later the publisher of The Weekly Monitor and American Advertiser at Litchfield 1784-1807.
