Second edition ( originally published 1807), 12mo, pp. 342, [1], plus 2-page publisher's catalogue; contemporary mottled sheep, tan morocco label on spine lettered in gilt; top spine end nearly chipped away, the front joint cracking but still very firm, and the text evenly toned, not affecting legibility; a handsome, sound copy. The standard text of its day in England, Gough's Arithmetick first appeared in 1767. Telfair has here revised the text for use in the USA. Item #31050
