A popular writer of boys' fiction in the late 19th century, Castlemon (pseudonym for Charles Austin Fosdick, 1842-1915) should be ranked along side Horatio Alger and G. A. Henty, though his popularity was short-lived. He produced about 58 titles, many of them featuring "Frank Nelson," a character Castlemon modeled after himself. Item #32127
