First edition, thin 8vo, pp. 142 plus [2]-page publisher's ad; 4 plates and illustrations in text throughout; original brown cloth blindstamped with ornamental rules and a fish on each cover and lettered on gilt on spine; the spine faded with top end chipped away and the gilt dulled, some wear to extremities, endpapers and adjacent prelims and terminals foxed and dampstained in bottom third; overall good and sound. This copy with presentation inscription in pencil on ffep: "Presented by / T. Garlick MD / to IH. [illegible] / College / Ohio." Item #32333
