Second British edition, 8vo, pp. xiv, [2], 296; engraved frontispiece portrait, 1 engraved facsimile; the last 9 pages of text comprise an unusual set of publisher's advertisements; spine a little scuffed and one small crack starting at the top of the upper joint, else good and sound in contemporary quarter green calf over marbled boards, red morocco label on gilt-decorated spine. The first York edition appeared in 1826, and a Philadelphia edition the following year. Item #37164
