London: Grecian Marbles (Marmor) Ltd., ca. 1920. Large, slim oblong 4to, unpaged; chiefly color and black and white photographic illustrations; original tan ribbon-bound pictorial wrappers, yapp edges; top edge a bit toned, else very good and sound. From the introduction: "Now that the Great War is over, architects and builders have to consider the most up-to-date methods and the best materials for the long delayed reconstruction of many of our out-of-date buildings." Color photographs of 10 marble samples are provided, with a short description, geographical source, and, with one exception, a short list of buildings where the marble has been used.
