Christ the revealer of man's sonship. Two sermons

Manchester: printed at the "Guardian" offices, 1865. Only edition, 8vo, pp. 17, [1]; self wrappers. Old rubbstamp on p. 3 of Manchester College, Oxford. Not in found in OCLC or COPAC. Drummond was one of the most influential Unitarian preachers, writers, and theologians in Britain in the latter half of the nineteenth century, and was principal of Manchester College in the latter part of his life, when it was called simply Manchester College. The name changed from Manchester College to Harris Manchester College in the 1990s, in recognition of the benefaction of Baron Harris of Peckham. When Drummond died at Oxford in 1918, his funeral was held at the college. Drummond’s “longer contributions to theological literature were all of them important, and in some instances opened out new paths for British scholarship” (DNB). Item #47982
