The autobiography of a man who ran away at 11 to become a cabin boy of a schooner, and eventually became captain of the Dreadnaught. The Dreadnaught was "one of the fastest and most famous ships built along the Seacoast region," and set a record for the trip between New York and Liverpool at 10 days. Item #48203
