Emmons "to celebrate Goudy's seventy-third birthday"; bifolium 10½"x 5", printed in red and blackprevious folds, slight stain at the top of the second leaf; all else fine. "A bit of a birthday tribute to Frederic W. Goudy from a bit of a rhymster Earl H. Emmons...The piece was begun in 1936 and it was to commemorate completion of Goudy's one hundredth type design, but before the author could finish the verse Goudy finished the type and had done a couple more so the project was abandoned." Camelot was Goudy's first type, and Bertham his hundredth. Item #48420
