Dessain, 1837. 8vo, pp. [4],484; 14 folding engraved plates, each showing multiple diagrams; original pink printed wrappers, uncut and unopened; edges curled, but generally fine. The first edition, printed in Metz in 1826, contained only 4 plates. This is the first Liége edition of what is essentially a textbook for mechanics and geometry originally written for use at the Ecole polytechnique in Metz and based on the work of Baron Dupin, but here laid out in an entirely new plan.
