Edition limited to 500 copies (this, no. 379) printed on a variety of hand made papers, 8vo, pp. 121, [3]; numerous photo and line illustrations throughout, 1 leaf of "Old Watermark Designs" and 8 leaves of sample papers bound in, including 1 leaf made by Dard Hunter at his Lime Rock Mill in 1930 on which is printed a tribute to the papermaker; a fine copy of one of the Press's best works, in original quarter brown morocco over printed cloth-covered boards by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, gilt title direct on spine. As issued, a paper sample from the 17th-century De Schoolmeester mill is laid in. Twenty-One, A7: "Omnibus was extremely popular and although I printed a large edition of 500 copies, demand was such that I could have sold twice that amount." Item #50375
