Newtown: Bird & Bull Press, 1997. Edition limited to 145 copies, (this, no. 29), large folio clamshell box, approx. 26" x 19½", containing a bound series of 5 leaves printed on rectos only, followed by 21 printed broadsides, each within a printed bifolium, and each covering a different subject (largely related to printing and papermaking) and printed on various papers in various fonts. This copy warmly inscribed by Morris on the colophon to the box-maker, Greg Campbell of Campbell-Logan Bindery: "Greg -- I usually don't sign things but in this case I'd like to. I don't know if I'll be praised or pilloried for this, but in any case you did a great job on the boxes and I thank you. Henry 6/23/97." Laid in is the original invoice to Campbell, as well as a printed note from Henry Morris, as issued, noting that this project "has been the lengthiest and most demanding project I have done." Conservatory 60: "It was too big, too heavy. and impossible to shelve. However, it was liked by most recipients and only two copies were returned..." Forty-Four A60. Item #50426
