An exposé and renunciation of Chogyam Trungpa, spiritual head of the Naropa Institute. It describes the lead-up and fallout of an incident in which the poet W. S. Merwin and his girlfriend were attacked and forcibly stripped during a religious ceremony. The issue embroiled many of the prominent figures of Naropa, including Allen Ginsberg, Ed Sanders, and Robert Bly. Original broadside apology by Kenneth Rexroth laid in, as issued. Item #50462
