Richard Twiss was an English travel writer who drummed up sales by writing unflattering and derogatory descriptions of the place and people he visited. He was so successful at rising the ire of the Irish that for a time chamber pots with his face printed on the bottom became popular there, and an image of one is included in this volume. Item #51612
