This copy inscribed by Partridge "Dear John reminiscently less regenerate days - Eric, 25 October, 1965." John is likely John W. Clark, Partridge's sometimes collaborator and professor at the University of Minneaota. Originally published as The Songs and Slang of the British Soldier 1914-18 in 1930. Item #52263
