In Lower Burma, Pollok relates hunts after tiger and panther, with chapters on hunting buffalo, rhinoceros, gaur, tsine, and various deer species. Thom, on the other hand, relates his shooting experiences in Upper Burma in the region between Mandalay and Rangoon after elephant, gaur, and tsine.
