London: P. Grant & Co., 1861. First edition, 8vo, pp. 110; original green printed wrappers; wrappers loose, but present; chips from the top corners of the front wrapper; all else very good. The whole of the proceedings, in condensed form, "of the inauguration of the first line opened in the Metropolis..." Includes a list of the guests, some rather lengthy toasts, extracts from the press, testimonials, etc. The metro went underground in 1863. Four copies in OCLC, only Texas in the U.S. as of October, 2018. Item #52850
