Allen W. Ward's Pills ... Allen W. Ward's life-saving buoy for ship-wrecked men. Swindlers exposed! A wide-open letter to that great army of weak men who have been hoodwinked and defrauded by the infamous rascals who disgrace the medical business

Avon, NY: Allen W. Ward, 1901. Broadsheet, approx. 19½" x 5½", with a wood-engraved illustration at the top, the text signed in print on the verso by H. O. Silver. Ten of these broadsheets are tied together with string at the top and I suppose were likely meant to be hung in a drugstore and made available one at a time to customers. Advertisement for Nervous Debility Pills, Ward's remedy for the treatment of the "annoying weaknesses of man, resulting from violation of nature's laws," i.e., sexual impotence. Rochester only in OCLC but of course only one copy without any notation of the string. Item #53020
