Bulletin Aéronautique 1er Aout 1889
Paris: Société de Pilotage Aéronautique, 1889. 4to, pp. [8]; text in French, in three columns printed via spirit duplication except for the front page which appears to be by plate. Possibly the first issue, certainly from the first year or the serial's run. The society was one of many clubs formed around the excitement of flight. This newsletter covers an international congress, recent ascensions via balloon (including one by Victor Hugo) and upcoming events. Paper delicate and fraying along the edges, light toning, label on upper left of upper wrapper, good and sound. Rare. Item #53142
Price: $65.00
