Laid in is a 2-page leaflet headed "Rooms of Massachusetts Institute of Technology," dated Boston, January 24, 1865 announcing the initiation of some courses of instruction, and reporting that the building of the school is "now in the process of erection," and it will be "in readiness for occupation next winter."
