The letters of Fabius, in 1788, on the Federal Constitution

[Brooklyn: privately printed for Paul Leicester Ford], 1888. 8vo, pp. 54; largely unopened; unprinted paper wrappers, light chipping to covers, near fine. The letters were originally published in a Delaware newspaper in 1788 and were "occasioned by an alarming hesitation of some States to ratify the Constitution proposed by the Federal Convention in 1787." This reprint was later collected with other pamphlets to be published as Pamphlets on the Constitution of the United States, during its Discussion by the People 1787-1788. BAL 6159. Item #54642
