Numerous editions were published in Pennsylvania in German. This is one of the few in English. An emblem book, of sorts, "this little work was translated from the French and at the earnest request of some pious persons, was published in the year 1732 at Wartzburg, by the engraver of the University, with the following title: Spiritual mirror of morality" (p. 3).
