Old ownership sticker at the top of the title page. Concerning a proposed canal from the headwaters of Narragansett Bay to Worcester, via the valley of the Blackstone River. The engineer for the proposed canal was Benjamin Wright. The assistant engineer was Holmes Hutchinson. "Remarks on Inland Navigation" (unsigned) occupies the last 7 pages. Not in Rink.
