Philadelphia: printed and published by William Fry, [1831]. Folio, 4 pages, 4 columns to a page; somewhat worn and foxed, old folds, minor splits. Pages 2-4 contain a speech opposing the Bank by Thomas Hart Benton; pages 1-2 contains an article favorable to the Bank which had appeared in the New York American. Page 4 also contains a resolution by the Senate of Pennsylvania recommending a renewal of the charter of the Bank. The charter was not renewed after its initial charter lapsed in 1836 giving Benton and President Jackson a victory. Item #55587
