A collection of articles and essays by this prolific pamphleteer and influential anarchist, inscribed to his friend Horatio Woodman, "from the author." Woodman was himself a influential Bostonian. His Saturday Club saw Ralph Waldo Emerson, James Russell Lowell, Edwin Percy Whipple, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, John Greenleaf Whittier, and Nathaniel Hawthorne as members, and resulted in the establishment of the Atlantic Monthly.
