This copy without the 4-leaf ad for Kennedy's Prairie Weed (not in all copies) bound between pp. 16 & 17. Chiefly an ad for Kennedy's "Medical Discovery," which he claims cures cankers, pimples, eye, ear, and hair disease, headaches, dropsey, and so on. The final 32 pages are dedicated to testimony of the medicine's effectiveness. The medical text is written in "plain and simple" language, warns against vaccination, and is mostly concerned with the management of humors. Item #56567
