Thick 8vo, pp. 652; contemporary full sheep, scuffed and rubbed, red morocco label on spine; front flyleaves loosening, small crack starting at the top of the upper joint; all else good and sound, or better. Ownership signature with a drawing of John Gladding, 1805. The fifth revision of Rhode Island law, but the first since the Revolution, and these are the first printed laws of Rhode Island since becoming a state.
