America the land of salads, the mixing of salads, decorating and garnishing salads, salad accompaniments, serving salads, fish salad, shell fish salads, tame and wild fowl salads, various egg salads, meat salads, vegetable salads, fruit salads, etc. The book reached a fourth edition by 1903. I can find no evidence to support the theory that Maximilian De Loup is a thinly veiled pseudonym for a member of the DeWolf family. Item #56629
