Here, he fills in the names of his Lexington and Watertown forebears, and details in 24 lines on the document and another 46 lines on a separate sheet of paper, the Revolutionary career of Dr. Joseph Fiske (1752-1837), a member of Captain Parker's company of Minutemen, a veteran of the Battle of Lexington, a second lieutenant in the Continental Army, and a surgeon's mate, his commission signed by none other than John Hancock.
