The vocal annual, or singer's own song book, for 1832. A collection of the newest and most popular songs of the day

Boston: published by Frederick S. Hill, Devonshire Street, 1832. 16mo, pp. 8, [1]-280; vignette title page; original terracotta muslin, printed paper label on spine; spine sunned; all else very good and sound. Nearly 250 songs (without music), from "Alice Gray" to "Your Molly has Never Been False." A book with the same title appeared in London published by Tegg in 1831 with the same catalogue of songs, and even the same vignette on the title page. Perhaps meant to be an annual publication but it appears this is all that was published. No mention of The Vocal Annual in either Thompson or Faxon. American Imprints 16921. Item #57347
