Washington, D.C. June 7, [18]86. Approx. 7¾" x 5", previous folds, some fading near the bottom; all else very good. Handwriting is difficult. Beginning, "My dear S. Thanks. I dip south early in November and shall take in the Worlds Fair &c. &c. I merely mention this to you now: so hot in May. There is nothing up full force for that event. I should like to go just as you, a loose freelance all do the work. I am dining in my own rooms as now if I will do. Yours, Joaquin Miller." Item #57610
