This copy with a lengthy biography of the author on the front pastedown in pencil, and the early ownership signature of "Richard Spencer 1850" on the front free endpaper. Contains several original poems by the author (an amusing collection) and advertisements for temperance hotels and eating houses in Boston and Worcester. Item #57762
