Ltd., 1927. 8vo, pp. x, 406; 20 illustrations on 17 plates, 1 folding and in color; original red cloth stamped in gilt on spine; top of spine and top corner of rear cover watersatined; all else very good and sound. Inscribed to "William Wilson from Mark Kerr, author, Aug. 24, 1939." Also with an A.L.s. from Kerr to Wilson mounted on the recto of the frontispiece, same date: "Here is the book. I've written in it. It belonged to someone called de Winton apparently as that name is in it. The situation looks grave so I am sending it off at once." Newspaper clipping on Kerr's 1944 death also mounted on flyleaf. Kerr has amplifield and/or corrected the text in ink on approximately 8 pages, one rather lengthy. Item #58023
