Moxon catalogue dated November, 1849 is inserted between the front endpapers; original full purple blindstamped cloth, gilt lettering on spine; newspaper shadow on first page of ads, cloth irregularly faded, especially the spine, joints worn and fraying, and minor cracking; a good and still reasonably sound copy. Armorial bookplate of James Worrall on the front pastedown. Published three months after he died, this was Wordsworth's life-long work, exploring the connections between humans and the natural world, and of the inner workings of the human mind. Wise p. 120.
