Composite oblong 4to, 33 leaves, paged 121-144, [1]-28, [1]-14; printed music throughout, with lyrics; contemporary and likely original red roan-backed marbled boards, printed paper label on upper cover; the text is toned, a few tears and edge curls, resewn in original sewing stations and neatly rebacked; otherwise a good copy. The music includes: "Child of Mortality ... written by Mrs. Rowson, composed by John Bray"; "Lord, Have Mercy," etc.; "Glory to God on High," etc., both by W. A. Mozart; "Ah, Wretched Israel!"; "Anthem," by T. Purday; "Air," by Stevenson; "Handel's Coronation Anthem," 'with two sets of words - the 1st set original, adapted for the coronation of King George 3d, by the author - the 2d, adapted for Christmas, by Rev. Gardiner, Boston'; "The Christian Reign," 'the seventy-second psalm, Watts' version, suitable for an ordination; or other occasional service.
