Judas!

Bob Dylan. The "folk" genius of his generation. This is not a programme -- Two shillings & sixpence [wrapper title]

Penrith: Valex (Blackpool) Ltd., n.d., [1966]. Large 8vo (approximately 9½" x 7"); pp. [8]; illustrated; original pictorial wrappers; near fine. "Unofficial programme" for the 1966 UK Tour. Printed by Reed's Ltd in Penrith and published by Valex in Blackpool. Much of the text concerns Dylan's youthful tales of running away from home, his imaginged travels, and early musical accomplishments. Being unofficial, this "programme" would almost certainly have been offered for sale outside the various venues during the tour, including the Manchester Free Trade Hall where he was famously labeled Judas just before the final number, Like a Rolling Stone. Rare. Not in OCLC. Item #60603

Price: $450.00
