Sells Floto Circus order for admission

Sells Floto Circus, 1930. Complimentary circus ticket, 3.5" x 5.5"; illustration of a lion surrounded by decorated border on verso. old fold, else fine. This pro-forma ticket was given out to business owners in return for the "Exclusive Privilege of tacking cloth signs, posters, or other advertising matter" on their premises. This ticket was not used, with the owner's name and business address left blank. The Sell-Floto Circus inherited the Buffalo Bill's Wild West show, and was later absorbed into the American Circus Co. monopoly. Item #60639
