First edition, 8vo, pp. xiv, 231, [3]; a few illustrations throughout; top corners bumped, else a fine copy in publisher's pictorial laminate boards. Inscribed by the editor on the title page: "For Jeremiah, Mark Burstein / G4G X." 'Jeremiah' is Jeremiah Farrell, the late mathematician and puzzler (see Wikipedia). And "G4G X is the tenth biennial edition of the Gathering for Gardner conference, an educational foundation and non-profit corporation devoted to preserving the legacy and spirit of prolific writer Martin Gardner, founded in part by Jeremiah Farrell. Contributions by Justin Schiller, Selwyn Goodacre, Scott Kim, Christopher Morgan, Martin Gardner himself, and a host of others, on Lewis Carroll, mathematics, puzzles, and fond memories. Per Wikipedia: "Martin Gardner (October 21, 1914 – May 22, 2010) was an American popular mathematics and popular science writer with interests also encompassing scientific skepticism, micromagic, philosophy, religion, and literature – especially the writings of Lewis Carroll, L.
