One of ten copies

Drafts & fragments of Cantos CX - CXVII

Iowa City: Stone Wall Press, 1969. Edition limited to 310 copies signed by Pound and one of only 10 copies with the stand-alone Stone Wall Press imprint, consisting, according to Berger, of copies no. 301-310 (this copy unnumbered); small folio, pp. [2], 40, [2]; printed in red and black; custom full black niger morocco, blind-ruled borders on covers, the spine lettered "SWP" and "EP" in blind; fine copy in a custom Cockerell paper-covered slipcase. Errata slip laid in, as called for. From the library of the printer, Kim Merker. Berger, Printing and the Mind of Merker, 27. Berger suggests that all copies with just the Stone Wall Press imprint (as above) "are in sheets," and unbound. Berger also notes that "Merker plans to have a special binding for his own Stone Wall Press copies." Possibly, this was the only one so bound. The sheets of seven others (all unnumbered) are currently with us. Gallup A91d. Item #61711
