This copy from the library of Wayne Fredericks and inscribed by Sithole: "True human friendship transcends all racial considerations. Ndabaningi Sithole." Ndabaningi Sithole founded the Zimbabwe African National Union, a militant organisation that opposed the government of Rhodesia, in July 1963. This book was written to explain African nationalism to non-Africans. Jacob Wayne Fredericks (1917–2004) was an American businessman and diplomat who served as the United States Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs from 1961 until 1967, and often acted as a liaison with African liberation groups.
