The original 1595 edition was composed by Father Antonio del Rincón (1566-1601) of the Society of Jesus; addressed to the most illustrious and most reverend S. Don Diego Romano, Bishop of Tlaxcallan and of His Majesty's Council &c. in Mexico in the house of Pedro Balli, 1595.
