First edition limited to 600 copies, 300 numbered in arabic numerals and 300 in roman numerals (this no. xcv/ccc), signed by both Roca and Rendón; small tabular-bound folio, pp. [42]; line blocks and linoleum cuts throughout, some showing through die-cut pages, 6 in color; laid in is a hand-printed "Ex libris" bookplate, as issued; generally a fine copy in original tan cloth with pictorial linocut pastedown on upper cover, publisher's slipcase. Wikipedia notes that Juan Manuel Roca is a Colombian poet, essayist, prose writer and journalist, occasionally included among the “disillusioned generation” of Colombian writers who made their debut in the 1970s. Rendón, from Medellín, is a draftsman, printmaker, and a dedicated illustrator of texts, a line of work that he pursued along with his widely known work in the linocut medium.
