First edition, 8vo, pp. [24]; removed from binding; very good. With a wood-engraved title vignette and 11 wood-engraved illustrations. "The mottos are chiefly selected from Shakespeare, Cowper, and Dr. Young." Socio-comic reptresentations of thieves, patriots, hypocrates, radicals, the prince, a priest, and William Cobbett bearingh Thomas Paine's bones. "A reply in verse, to William Hone's Political House that Jack Built; many of the cuts are a retort to G. Cruikshank's illustrations" (OCLC).
