First edition, third impression; 8vo, pp. xi, [1], 383; 16 plates and a folding map of Kansu Province; slightly skewed but still a very good copy in original blue cloth lettered in gilt on spine and upper cover. "Account of the author's exploration in Southwest corner of Kansu in 1915." It is Farrer's last book, first printed posthumously in 1921: he died while on an expedition in upper Burma in October, 1920. Yakushi F22. Item #67758
