Shrewsbury and Providence Grove: printed and published by the editor, 1838. 4to, pp. [2], viii, [9]-68; 19 mounted India proofs before letters (3 double-p, one with a small gouge and creased corner, no significant loss), otherwise a very good, sound copy in later 3/4 polished blue calf over marbled boards, extremities rubbed. Hulbert was manager of a print shop and a bookstore near Shrewsbury "where he published the Salopian Magazine (1815-17) and printed many small books, most of them written by himself. In 1827 he built a house...which he called Providence Grove, and here he continued to print and publish his writings. His house was burnt down, and his large library destroyed in 1839" (DNB).
